About the Event
Worship Camp is a retreat for everyone but especially those who serve the church by leading worship through arts (singers, musicians, dancers, spoken word) and media. This camp empowers, enables and equips you with what you need to foster growth in your life and ministry of worship. The aim is to retreat to surrender and go back revived and empowered.
Worship is an eternal call, It is how we live life both in obedinent respose to the Lord. In our day there are so many ideas of what the believers life and ministry of worship should look like. While this is very helpful in most cases there is a need for us to reprioritise what the Word of the Lord defines as the pattern of the life and duty of as His Priesthood.
We are going back to what the bible says about worship and the postures, patterns and protocool giving to us my our Lord Jesus Christ.
Our theme for this year is “JESUS (The Order Of Divine Priesthood)”.
We are taking a holistic approach to worship by delving deep into what it means and looks like to worship the Lord with all and how we can overcome the barriers that try to stop us from doing so in today’s culture.
Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever even though seasons, culture, technology evolve His principles remain constant. The times are changing and we must take time out to understand how the Lord would have us posture ourselves, for a time is coming and now is the time when the true worshipers will worship. We must also take time to understand what we need to do to be proficient in our relationship with the Lord and responsibility of leading a facilitating the corporate expression of worship.
